Earlier this year, team ATP partnered up with METRO Los Angeles to present a salon – called ‘In Her Shoes’ on the topic of Women and Safety in Public Transportation and Car-Free Travel.
With ATP founder Stana Katic as moderator, the panel included: Lindy Lee from Metro, LADOT’s Margot Ocanas, Goldhirsch Foundation’s Shauna Nep, USC professor Jim Haw, and Chief Ronene Anda from the Los Angeles Sheriff Department.

Mrs. Katic, you are doing such a great thing for this planet. After reading up on ATP a little over a year ago I made the choice to go car free for one day. We need more people like you who are in this world. Keep up the great work.
Great project!!! Most of my life I did not have a car. But since I have one I try at least 3times a week to go to work by bike.
I lived in different cities and made the experience that my love of leaving the car at home depends very much on the amount and quality of cycle ways in a city. I dont like to cycle along roads, because its so dangerous sometimes. So the construction of cycle ways is in my opinion a possibility to bring more people away from the car and on the bike.
I love this, project, I’m from Spain and I live in a country where all or one part of the country go walking. I think include in a small countries, you can promote the ATP and we could do better. We only have to disfrute and put willingly.
A hug and kisses from Spain, I appreciate so much your work.
Dear Stana,
I´m not even old enough to buy a car, but even if I do I don´t think I will use it a lot. After I heard about this project it got me thinking. You are changing the world and I want to help. I hope one day ATP will be known in the Netherlands soon, so we can make a difference in this world all together,
